Sports Med Ortho:
Sports Med Ortho deals mainly in ligament repair and reconstruction. We specialise in arthroscopic surgery in all joints and provide innovative and reliable solutions for many types of injury including rotator cuff, bankart, cruciate ligament and cartiledge lesions. Working with the theatre staff and surgeons we provide a valuable service to compliment and develop the surgeon and theatre to constantly improve on patient outcomes. In constant communication with the hospital groups and medical aids we strive to provide new technological solutions to the patient and surgeons at an affordable cost. Furthermore we have just launched a vetinary portfolio, biologics and shoulder arthroplasty portfolio.
Spines:
The Spines Division supplies a full range of products for the use during spinal surgical procedures to Orthopedic and Neuro Surgeons. Our products range from instrumentation for fusion and stabilization of the Cervical, Thoracic and Lumbar Spine to Membranes for use to repair the Dura surrounding the Brain. The companies that we represent in South Africa are all innovators and we will be launching at least 2 new products into the South African market this year.

Since 1994 we have offered superb products and expertise in Hernia repair, laparoscopic surgery and ENT. Our mesh products have years of research and development behind them, which are are designed to work in harmony with your body's own tissues, helping to reduce infection and other complications following surgery. These products have been saving and improving the quality of lives worldwide for over 30 years.
Laparoscopic surgery requires reliable and efficient instruments that are ergonomically designed for comfort and effective use for the surgeons. Our range of laparoscopic instruments adhere to all these requirements, therefore supplying the industry with exceptional quality at an affordable rate.Furthermore we have introduced Coblation to the Ear Nose and Throat surgery in South Africa and have therefore been exposed to a highly innovative medical device that is based on internationally patented Coblation technology. This platform technology precisely dissolves target tissue and minimizes damage to surrounding, healthy tissue. Coblation technology has improved many existing surgical procedures and enables new minimally invasive procedures. Our devices have been used in millions of cases worldwide across several medical specialties including arthroscopy, spine and neurology, ear, nose and throat, cosmetic, urology, gynecology, and laparoscopic / general surgery.
Vascular:
The vascular division provides creative healing solutions to complex medical problems. We provide products for radiofrequency ablation of varicose veins, synthetic vascular grafts, interventional devices, endovascular stent grafts and sutures for use in vascular and cardiac surgery. As a team we strive to achieve our goal of providing the best most cost effective solution to any vascular medical problem that a patient presents to the surgeon.
Customer Service Department:
This division ensures that our sales efforts and related actions are correctly and timeously transacted for, be it invoicing, the managing of loan set stock and the collection and transfer thereof as well as dealing with any customer enquiries. CSD departments are set up in major region (CPT, JHB, DBN, BFN, PE) to enhance the level of service delivery reports into the National Customer Service Department Manager based in JHB.
Warehousing:
This function consists of applying sound stock management principles such as safeguarding stock from unauthorized access, rotating stock before expiry dates are due, regular stock takes and verifying stock as ready for use prior to the delivery thereof and ensuring warehouses are kept in a clean state at all times.Warehousing is done on a branch level with the main receiving warehouse in Johannesburg.
Finance:
This division is centralized in the Johannesburg Head office and consists of various key positions being Bookkeeping, Credit Control, Price File Administration, Accounts Payable and Stock Costing who in turn reports into the Financial Manager who in turn reports into the Financial Director. Accounting software and BI tools used are JD Edwards and Qlikview.
Information Technology:
This department safeguards the data integrity and ensures minimal business interruptions from an information systems workflow point of view. The department is based in Johannesburg with key individuals specializing in their respective disciplines.
Human Resources:
Geared to ensure company practices fair labor relations at all times, HR safeguards both the company as well as the employee against unfair labour practices. It strives to continually enhance the skill compliment of the company by performing needs analysis workshops and providing training / support where and when identified.
